Not ensuring progress for Highway 91B Project

Project on Building Highway 91B, 2 kilometer route from crossroad of Nguyễn Văn Linh, 3/2 and Nguyễn Văn Cừ street is approved VND 520 billion expenses by the Ministry of Transportation.

The project is constructed by BOT, invested by Cần Thơ – An Giang BOT Joint Stock Company, built by Cường Thuận Joint Stock Company for Construction and Projects.

In schedule, it was completed in June 30th. However, presently, the project does not ensure its progress.

After 3 labor months, the project only completes 1 side of 3 bridges including no.1, 2, 3, and drain system of 2 sides of route.

Remainings are not completed due to unmoved electricity system and encroachment on pavement of some households.

To now, the project is being constructed, major route for means of transportation into bus stations, the Central General Hospital and residential areas.

So, the transportation is difficult, especially at night or rainy season. According to the construction unit, possibly, the project lasts to year-end./.
