LEADER WORKS WITH NATIONAL STEERING COMMITTEE 389
In the morning on July 4th, interdisciplinary working delegation of the National Steering Committee for Smuggling, Commercial Fraud and Counterfeit Prevention, or the National Steering Committee no.389, led by Mr. Trương Văn Ba – Standing Deputy Chief of Secretariat of the National Steering Committee no.389, visit and work with Cần Thơ city. Mr. Trương Quang Hoài Nam – Vice Chairman of Cần Thơ city People’s Committee cum Chief of the city Steering Committee no.389 receives and works with the delegation.
After 2-year implementing the Resolution no.2371 and Directive no.30 of Prime Minister, interdisciplinary functional forces of Cần Thơ city detects 888 cases, with 899 crimes. Through that, they seized over 257,700 illegally imported cigarette packs, more than VND 7 billion fines and 40 prosecutions. Appreciating the efforts of leaders and functional agencies in the city, Mr. Trương Văn Ba suggests promoting propaganda, enhancing inspection and supervision, coordinating with border provinces in order to carry out missions effectively.
