Gift presentation to poor but good students in Thới An ward

On July 3rd, standing vice chairman of Cần Thơ City People’s Committee Lê Văn Tâm and leaders of Ô Môn urban district and Thới An ward organized the gift presentation to poor but good students in Thới An ward, Ô Môn urban district.

Each gift, consisting of 10 notebooks and VND 300,000 was handled to 50 poor but good pupils and students of primary and junior secondary levels to facilitate for their study in the new school year of 2016- 2017.

Expectedly, another 700 gifts will be presented to poor but good students in Thới Lai and Cờ Đỏ suburban districts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lê Văn Tâm reminded local authorities of early building up plan to mobilize school- age children to go to school.
