In the evening on July 25th, at the cemetery of Thot Not district, the standing board of the district youth union in combination with the labor, war-invalids and social affairs chamber and the military command of the district organized a candle-lighting ceremony to show deep gratitude to martyrs on the 68th war-invalids, martyrs’ day (July 27th 1947 – 2015) and the 70th founding day of Cantho armed forces (July 30th 1945 – 2015).
About 500 cadres, youth union members, students and armed forces in Thot Not and Vinh Thanh districts reviewed the tradition, the meaning of the war-invalids, martyrs’ day and the founding day of Cantho armed forces and showed deep gratitude to martyrs.
On this occasion, 10 gifts, 300,000 VND each, were offered to heroic Vietnamese mothers and policy-categorized families in the locality.
