In the morning on July 12th, in Hậu Giang province, the Politburo and the Secretariat Committee commences conference to implement Decision of the Politburo and Secretariats Committee on personnel task at the Steering Committee for the Southwestern Region.
On behalf of the Political Ministry, Secretariat, Politburo Member – Standing Member of the Secretariat Đinh Thế Huynh presented the decision to designate politburo member-Deputy Prime Minister Vương Đình Huệ as Chief of the Steering Board for the Southwestern region and Vice Secretary of Sóc Trăng province Party Committee – Chairman of Sóc Trăng province People’s Committee Nguyễn Trung Hiếu as Vice Chief of the Steering Board for the Southwestern region.
Delivering speech at the congress, Mr. Đinh Thế Huynh highly appreciated dedication of Mr. Vương Đình Huệ and Nguyễn Trung Hiếu in their working process, hoping that with their experiences and competence, they will make more new efforts to well complete assigned tasks.
In reply, Mr. Vương Đình Huệ delivered the speech which affirms the determination to overcome difficulties to make Mekong delta strongly develop to deserve the socio-economic key region of the whole country.
