Vice chairman of Cần Thơ City People’s Committee Đào Anh Dũng on afternoon August 2 has worked with Steering Board of flood storm control and rescuing of Cờ Đỏ district to overcome tornado aftermath here.
The report on july 30, at Cờ Đỏ town occured a tornado, collapsed 58 houses, roofed 108 houses and 4 work-rooms of district people’s committee plus 2 classrooms of Cờ Đỏ 2 primary school, damaged in estimation over VNĐ 3.5 billion.
To afternoon August 2, the district received VNĐ 878 million support, 6.9 tonns of rice, 162 casks of instant noodles and hundreds of other necessities. At present, 6 units register to support VNĐ 270 million. And overcoming natural calamity aftermath by tornado basically stabilised.
