The workshop to raise competence of consultation, social crititism and assessment

Cần Thơ city’s alliance of Science and Technique Association in the morning of July 5th organised the workshop entitled “Raising the competence of consultation, social criticism and assessment of Cần Thơ city’s Alliance of science and technique associations.

Deputy chief of the publicity-education board under the city party committee presided over the workshop which were participated by 61 delegates of the alliances of the science and technique associations of Hồ Chí Minh City, Cà Mau province and relevant departments, sectors boards in Cần Thơ city.

In the past time, the consultation, social criticism and assessment of Cần Thơ city’s alliance of the science and technique association have actively contributed to building, planning programmes, plans, guidelines, socio-economic, security, defense development policies of the city, supplying more scientific, realistic, independent and objective foundations to serve for the process of building, verifying, approving or implementing projects.

Speeches presented at the workshop focused on analysing roles of Việt Nam Alliance of Science and Technique associations in consulting, criticising and assessing the society, combination between the science and technique association with departments, sectors boards, advantages, disadvantages.

At the workshop, delegates also discussed, exchanged real situations, difficulties and solutions with the aim to raise competence, efficiency of consultation, social criticism and assessment to serve for the city’s socio-economic development in the time to come./.
