The advanced typical delegates’ congress held by Cantho Health department

In the afternoon on May 22nd, Cantho city Health department organized the advanced typical delegates’ congress from 2010 to 2014.

According to report in the last 5 years, Cantho Health sector launched emulation movements by expanding, upgrading the medical network, investing in grassroots health system, well doing the preventive medicine task while focusing on building hi- tech specialized health units serving for examination and treatment for patients in Mekong delta region. No big epidemics have occurred in the last 5 consecutive years. Many new hi- tech scientific technical advances in diagnose and treatment have been applied.

100% of communes, wards have been supplied reproductive health- family planning services. The population increasing speed has been basically controlled. Scientific researches have been enhanced. 2 teams were presented the 1st and 5th class labour orders, 5 teams and 5 individuals the 3rd class labour order after emulation movements in the last 5 years. Besides, many other individuals were presented merit certificates and other titles by the government, Cantho people’s committee.
