Budget collection at low level at Cần Thơ’s City Customs Department

Due to some objective reasons, in the 1st 6 months of 2016, Cần Thơ city’s Customs Department has collected state budget at low level against set plan.

Specifically, in the 1st 6 months of 2016, Cần Thơ city’s Customs department has collected the budget at just 34.7% against the plan set by the Finance ministry with the total collection sum of VND 1,006 billion out of 2,900 billion.

State budget collection source via export in Cần Thơ city has stood at jus 41.44% due to preferential favor that petroleum import enterprises benefit from FTA.

In the last 6 months, Cần Thơ city’s Customs department continues intensifying administrative renovation, modernizing the customs sector with the aim to facilitate for export and import.

At the review congress this morning, Vice Chairman of Cần Thơ City People’s committee Nguyễn Thanh Dũng suggested Cần Thơ City’s Customs department boost the implementation of governmental instructions, actively clear difficulties for enterprises, simplify administrative procedures, enhance combination with departments, sectors in fighting against trade fraud and trafficking in the field of import./.
