Binh Thuy District reviewed grassroots party congress

On May 22nd, Binh Thuy urban district organized the congress to review the party at grassroots level for 2015- 2020 term, briefed results of the 11th congress of the 11th party central executive board with the participation of permanent member, chief of the home affairs board under the city party committee Bui Van Hai.

The party committee of Binh Thuy urban district has 52 subordinating party units, including 14 party committees and 38 party cells. Implementing party congresses at all levels in the lead up to the 12th national party congress, subordinating party units of Binh Thuy organized party congresses from March 19th to May 14th 2015. The party committees of An Thoi, Binh Thuy wards and the party cells of the chamber of the people’s council and people’s committee of Binh Thuy urban district were chosen to be the steering units. Generally, instruments were carefully compiled with clear causes and experience lessons. 254 members were elected to new executive boards, with the rate of women making up 40.55%, young age under 35 years-old 24.41%. However, some political reports were not carefully prepared and few opinions were discussed at the congress.

Participants at the congress also heard the secretary of Binh Thuy urban district party committee Le Hoang Nam briefing results of the 11th congress of the 11th party central executive board. On this occasion, 13 party units that well organized the party congresses were commended.
