The second Don Ca Tai Tu Festival was opened at Light Music Center in Ho Chi Minh City on July 11.
On the occasion, the organization board honored devotion of artists after UNESCO’s recognition, and showed famous extracts of Cai Luong (southern folk opera).
The festival with theme “The Golden Lotus Prize” that attracted around 250 artists from clubs of 24 art troupes in city’s districts, organized by Department of Culture, Sport of Ho Chi Minh City and HCMC Culture Center.
The Golden Lotus Award is scheduled to take place on July 11- 12.
